The Ghana Government is proposing to guarantee a loan from the NIB of $28million to buy luxury cars at $100,000 each for 275 MPs. This is UNACCEPTABLE in a country where children don’t have desks or school supplies, healthcare is atrocious with a lack of drugs and increased costs, food costs are high, power is not consistent etc. EACH MP should contract their own loans for their cars. 
Secondly the MPs usually have Land cruiser which run forever. Why do they need new cars? What happened to “buying in Ghana” since we now assemble cars? 
Can you imagine the cost of this loan? I thought the President wanted to break the colonial ties and limit loans- Ghana for Ghanaians!!! 
Sign this petition and stop this unnecessary spending. The government should focus on priorities - food, healthcare, education, sanitation, housing etc.
