Imagine you're running late for class and forgot you need to print out your essay. You run across campus, sprinting down to Plank basement. You find the link on the school's website, upload your document and click "print". But nothing happens. You look at both machines and they're showing no signs of movement. You run to Glatfelter and the same thing happens. Now, you're late to class and without a printed essay. 

The printers at Gettysburg College were recently moved out of the library and into other buildings on campus, such as Glatfelter, McCreary, Plank basement, and West building, with West being the only 24 hr building. 

These printers have no one to look out for paper jams and restocking ink and paper, leading to frustrated students and broken printers. 

This new change further expects students to have their own computers to be able to download and print using the link on the school's website, and to have the time to run across campus.

This petition calls for these printers to be put back into the library where they are accessible, and can be overseen by the staff as they were in years past.
