Yonder pouches infringe on student's privacy and property. there are many scenarios where students could need their phone such as if they need to call their family to pick them up, if there's a threat to the school and they need to alert family or the authorities, if they are getting harassed by students and the teachers don't do anything about it, which happens often. There are many other examples. The schools do not pay for these and plenty of students and parents are against this, but the parents are forced to sign waivers, or their kids cannot attend the school. If a student chooses to use their phone during a class it's their own choice to fall behind and teachers can send that student to a principle but this should not be forced on every student resulting in potential danger to the students who need to be able to contact their parents.
