This footpath has been closed and the job left half finished, with high power electric cables on show, since last summer. It is dangerous for pedestrians forced into the road to and from the metro; it is losing  money for the businesses nearby, and deterring new businesses from taking up empty properties.

The council and Northern Power are the responsible bodies. 

We residents cannot wait for a serious accident,  another shop to close, or another shop to be deterred from opening. We want these works finished now.
