It's evident that our current special teams unit isn't meeting the standards we need to bring home that championship.

In NFL, each team needs its special teams to be a cohesive, efficient force—one that grabs every opportunity to turn the game in their favor. However, our current special teams strategy has faltered significantly, costing us vital points, momentum, and ultimately, the games. We need new leadership to train and inspire our special teams, channeling their potential into success on the field. Our players deserve a chance to showcase their skills with guidance that brings out their best.

Statistics reveal that teams with highly-ranked special teams units consistently perform better overall. These teams have better average starting field position, higher scoring probability, and an increasing number of game-changing plays. The Vikings deserve to be in these statistics consistently—to be the team everyone fears facing.
