The Coffee Box in downtown El Paso has Gansitos for sale and calls them "Mexican Pastry." This should stop.

Besides the fact that there are many different kinds of Mexican pastries, Gansitos are a small, basic, and popular mass-produced cake.

Calling Gansitos, which many borderland residents have enjoyed since their youth "Mexican Pastry" makes them sound like a sophisticated hand-made delicacy.

They're delicious, don't get me wrong, but they deserve to be called what Marinela named them, and the Coffee Box should own up to selling these popular cakes without calling them by a different name and sounding pretentious.

This is stupid, unimportant, and not a real problem. You should sign anyway.
