For the safety of the community of West Calder, we pose that the Bluebell Inn should be removed or forced to commit to never take in hard crime ex-convicts (pedophiles, rapists, etc.) The residents of the area were never consulted or made aware of housing for homeless ex-convicts in the area.

The Bluebell Inn doesn't openly advertise itself as ex-convicts housing.

The community has noticed a rise in shop-lifting and anti-social behavior in the area. Locals have brought to light verbal abuse from residents of the Bluebell Inn when passing. Constant Police presence disrupts daily life surrounding the Bluebell Inn. 

The top floor windows of the Bluebell Inn look onto Northfield Cottage's gardens, making residents feel unsafe about letting their children play. A resident has reported a drunk man shouting down at children playing in their own gardens during the day. Also, another resident witnessed their neighbour being verbally abused and have his life threatened by another tenant of the Bluebell Inn.

Northfield Cottages used to be a quiet, peaceful area - now residents feel unsafe to even sit in their own gardens. With convincted sex offenders spotted in the area, we are concerned this Inn will house them.
