In addition the A6-M60 scheme will create additional walking and cycling routes and support economic growth at Manchester Airport and the adjacent enterprise zone. 1.2.8 It is concluded that the scheme provides a good strategic fit with transport policy as it is consistent with national, regional and local transport policies.
