Here is Saranga Disassekara acting in "Lansupathiniyo" a Sri Lankan teledrama that plays on the channel ITN Sri Lanka. 

When people started privately messaging Saranga regarding his role as an actor portraying blackface. He took screenshots of the conversation, including the account name and blasted that (19 year old girl) on his instagram story. He asked his 445K followers to send him any details they could find about her. 

Him and his girlfriend Dinakshie Priyasad; who also has a role on the show. Have been ignoring & ridiculed the topic blackface.

After being told "To play a dark skinned character you should cast a dark skinned person... not paint the actor in black."

Dinakshie took it to her instagram to respond with: 

"to play a white skinned? should we cast an actual fair person? 

to play a blind? should we cast an actual blind person?

to play a murderer? should we cast an actual murderer?

to play a drug addict? should we cast an actual drug addict"

She then moves on to ask people to address the real issues in Sri Lanka.

-> This is highly ignorant of someone, for them to push aside issues like blackface and colorism in our society. Unexpected behavior from a public figure. 

Hours ago Dinakshie took to twitter to post a video of her singing "i'm a dark skin girl". They have taken to instagram & twitter to taunt. 

They still remain arrogant, blind and pride-filled.
