Sparx Maths has become a frustrating and discouraging platform for many students. Instead of helping us improve our maths skills, it often feels like a chore. Its demotivating, overly repetitive, and time-consuming without real benefits. The rigid structure, lack of flexibility, and overwhelming workload make it harder for students to enjoy learning or effectively prepare for exams.

We believe that maths revision should be engaging, effective, and enjoyable. Platforms like Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS), Sumdog or other alternatives offer a more interactive and student-friendly experience. They encourage learning through games, rewards, and a more personalized approach, making students actually want to revise rather than forcing them through tedious tasks.

By signing this petition, we ask our school to consider replacing Sparx Maths with a better alternative, one that fosters motivation, boosts confidence, and genuinely helps students succeed in their exams. Let’s make maths revision something we look forward to, not something we dread for all UK Students!
