We have a significant flaw in our schools, and that is i-Ready. It is a personalized program that helps students in both math and reading. However, it is not very helpful at all.

As a student, i-Ready teaches me things I have already learned and understood. It is very boring and monotonous, and it talks about things you have already learned. The lessons are very long and very repetitive, and they don't tell me anything interesting

Another flaw is the diagnostic. The diagnostic is very long and requires an extremely high attention span that almost no one has. A student said,  "I think everybody would test out if the diagnostic wasn't so boring." 

A third flaw of i-Ready is the fact that if you take a diagnostic and get the same score as you did last time, you would get the same lessons as you already had done. This has happened to me on multiple occasions, and it is very annoying and repetitive. Imagine just having to sit there doing things you had already learned before, and then doing them a second time!
