For some time now, armoured car transport companies have been trying to introduce one-man crewing to the industry in an effort to save money.

The men and women who work on these armoured vehicles transport millions of dollars every day, and therefore are targeted by criminals who would stop at nothing to take that money from them. That is why the guards on these trucks are armed and highly trained, because anywhere, at any time, someone could try to kill them to take what they are transporting. The largest reason this does not happen often, is the fact that most crews consist of two people. This ensures one person can watch the back of the other and this deters attackers. Every armed guard in Canada could tell you of a time a situation could have gone very badly if they had not had a partner there to help them. That is why eliminating one crew member to save money will cost innocent men and women their lives.

Nova Scotia firearms office has strict guidelines on their authorization to carry making it so you must have at least 2 armed guards while doing their jobs. Let’s get every Firearm office in Canada to change their laws to minimum 2 armed guards on a truck so every guard has someone watching their back while doing a dangerous job TO GET HOME SAFE!!
