Student-athletes around the world must be committed to both their academic and athletic careers to earn their degree while performing adequately on the court, field, or rink. Fellow Penn State student-athletes from different commonwealth campuses (i.e. Brandywine) have been allowed the chance to display their huge accomplishments of earning a Bachelor’s degree while participating in one (or more) college sports by wearing a white stole during graduation. Allowing student-athletes at Penn State University - Schuylkill the same opportunity to exhibit their hard work in both the classroom and their sports will motivate, inspire, and allow others to admire their achievements.
