Support for this petition just keeps growing as a powerful example of what a difference people power makes even in the tense political climate we find ourselves in. Do check out my previous updates for details on all the incredible progress this campaign has seen so far.

This week we passed 190,000 signatures, being so close to the big 200,000 I’ve never been more humbled by the immense interest you have all shown in better supporting this nations young people via this cause. With over 16,000 shares on social media and over 5,000 comments of support you are the movement and should feel so proud of your part in it.

Also this week I was privileged to discuss all things politics as a factor in mental health with comedian/campaigner Sammie Pressdee on my podcast. This resulted in a very moving and personal conversation about how austerity affects the most vulnerable in our society including what can be done to support vital services like our NHS.
