But there was no movement to it yet it’s very important to open yours eyes to it and make the right change. Just like Eseyas, I too was introduced to the beautiful game when I was a kid and I have been a manchester united fan most of my life. I once wondered why the logo of Manchester United has the devil holding a 'pitchfork' but I never took it so seriously. Just recently when watching on TV and see these graphics of the devil getting larger on the TV screens and in the commentators’ studios, I got me thinking that this is not right. As a Catholic too I strongly condemn the logo and I believe so many people around the world whether be them Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists or Jews, would not like to see such a satanic figure on the logo of the club that they support, on TV, on posters and even their children being brainwashed washed to washing the devil! Surely there is a more meaningful and symbolic figure that can be put on the logo. If the supporters of manchester united are people of faith and belief and are not the worshippers of the devil then why not remove it. I too feel like Eseyas that to keep being a fan of Manchester United would have to ignore my faith, which I won’t. And I too believe so many fans feel the same. So I put a light again on this request to the board of directors of the Manchester United club to take this issue seriously and rebrand the club the right way. Indeed they will have to listen to the voices of the supporters and the public to remove the figure of the 'historic enemy' of the world from the logo. For sure many of us don’t want our eyes to be forced to see the unwanted figure of the devil. So join me, Eseyas and all fans around the world, to be United together as one and fight against these evil forces which are right in front of our eyes. Especially with the new club takeover on the way, let’s act now to get the brand refreshed and promote what is right.
