John Werry has made countless egregious fumbles regarding the English translations for the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. The majority of the Jujutsu Kaisen community agree that his translations are “trying to to be different”, “watering down the story”, “dog shit”, etc. His translations put a heavy hindrance on the dialogue and narration. It’s even ignited discourse within the JJK community a multitude of times. Most sundays I wake up and pray John Werry cooked but he obviously does not have the facilities to do that. His last W was “It’s time to commit Patricide!” But even that is overshadowed by the horrendous translation for Kenjaku’s dialogue at the end of his 1v1 fight with Choso.  Making it seem like Satoru Gojo also possessed the Cursed Technique of Curse Spirit Manipulation. Round Deer > Tranquil Deer still haunts me to this day. Please Viz, give us someone new.
