Jacob Whisenhunt was a cadet at West Point Military Academy when he was falsely accused of sexual assault and convicted to 21 years in a federal prison. Anyone who knows Jacob knows that he could not have committed this crime. His conviction and sentencing were a gross miscarriage of justice based on very minimal evidence, certainly not beyond a reasonable doubt. Jacob was offered an opportunity to plead out, but refused to admit to something he wasn't guilty of. We believe his case was caught up in the political storm of sexual assault issues presently assailing the military community.This petition is for his supporters, asking to get his sentence commuted by the President of the United States.
