Like me and others in England we are having to pay for our own treatment which is costing us hundreds of pounds.

We have LHON which is a genetic disease passed through the maternal genes. This drug idebenone is fully funded on the NHS in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. But England are refusing to fund.

This disease is sight killer. It kills the optic nerve in the eyes and can affect your nervous system. My dad and many others are fighting with the NHS to get this treatment funded because it has proven to help.

So please help me and the others that are fighting to keep our sight and lives as normal as we can.
