Get GPs back to work and get them to see people face-to-face without phone appointments

The Issue

I have been suffering with an undiagnosed illness for 18 going on 19 months. I have been getting progressively worse over the past few months, with it affecting every aspect of my life. At 22 years old I want and need to be working, seeing friends and getting on with my life, but I can't because I'm being debilitated by this illness and the doctors not helping me. It has  gotten to the point now where I need walking aids to help me get around. The doctors at my local GP surgery have been of little to no help during these 18 months, and are now being of less help that I am getting worse. I have even received text messages from my doctor, telling me that if I have gotten worse, that I should just go to A&E. This was after already being to A&E twice, a lot of phone calls, being hung up on by them and being told there were no phone appointments available, and sending 2 eConsults to try and get their attention. This isn't the answer! I am not an A&E patient, I am an ongoing one who needs better medical attention from my GP. I am only able to get phone appointments and even getting those is a struggle at the best of times, sometimes taking 3 eConsults and a week or two for someone to get back to me; when I do get a phone call I'm only allowed 5/10 minutes and it's very rushed. I have only seen my GP face-to-face once in 18 months for 5 minutes. Since then I have gotten immensely worse, and they do not want to know. I have been to A&E twice and have also had a paramedic come out to my home who has phoned the Dr's himself as they were not getting back to me. They were also of no help to him, and quite rude, which I found disgusting. I am not the only one who has been affected by GP's not going back to work properly since covid hit. I know many family members and friends who have been having the same problems with their doctors and doctors surgeries. It is putting increasing pressure on hospitals, as we have no other choice but to go to them when it's not needed. People can go to nightclubs now, but we still can't see a doctor! It is disgusting, ridiculous, and damaging a lot of people's physical and mental health. Something needs to be done ASAP.
