Gary Wilkes is the devoted owner of 5 year old rescue malamute Cynders, and has'nt been the same since his dog was taken away from him after an awful accident beyond his control.

25th January they went out for a walk where Cynders was victim of a hit and run that broke her pelvis and hip and left them fighting for her life. The sled dog charity stepped in to help or she would die and they did some amazing work. 

Behind the scenes Gary, his family and friends have been working tirelessly,  unknown to them that they would solely blame him for the incident that haunts him every minute since it happened. They've been raising money to repay the charity for saving his dogs life in hopes he can look after her for the rest of her life. 

they've been getting up at 4.30am to do carboot sales, holding fundraisers at they're local pub and selling family posesssions of sentimental value because they miss her so much.
