The Senate Democrats have just introduced another attempt to decriminalize marijuana on the federal level and make it easier for states to legalize marijuana without fear of federal government backlash. This bill would also expunge all nonviolent marijuana convictions and create equity programs for communities that have been disproportionately effected by the prohibition of marijuana.
