Get BAT to refund Subscribers' Monies for the Failed BATN Coop Housing Scheme. in Nigeria:

When a person aspires to free himself from the clutches of Oga Landlord, saves and deprives himself to make an investment in his future, and the hopes turn into a bitter ash of broken dreams....because powerful people (Shell Petroleum Development Co., British American Tobacco and the Ooni of Ife) have hijacked their monies and properties, and people are powerless to on please...

1. BAT under its "GREAT PLACE TO WORK" Initiative conceived of a Staff Housing Scheme and set up a Cooperative as a vehicle for this transaction in Nigeria

2. BAT caused staff and non-staff to contribute N1.5b towards this, while channelling N1b to buy land at Lekki, in Lagos.

3. The BAT controlled BATN Coop contracted a Developer to build the promised homes.

4. However BAT contrived to transfer 100% ownership of the Land to the Developer for money it never bothered to receive.

5. The Developer has since sold nearly 70% of the land to Shell Coop, who have subsequently built and occupied the same portion. Despite advice to Shell that the Land was not for the Developer to sell,

6. The Developer (Grand Imperio) had since collected money from Shell Coop, and channelled the proceeds to matters other than the Subscribers Affairs.

7. The Developer's promoter and the key person has since become the Ooni of Ile-Ife, HRM Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II

For the subscribers there is untold suffering:

One of the Subscribers had lost 2 of her 3 children in the Sosoliso Aircrash. She left Port Harcourt to Lagos to settle down. She put in her savings to purchase a home. She unfortunately has lost her money and has since ha's been left to,yet again start from ground zero.

Please find the link showing Mary in her loss, promoting the sole survivor of the plane crash

Our prayer

Since BAT, BATN and BATN Coop and its management owed the Subscribers a Duty of Care, which they did not exercise when they surrendered the property to the Ooni, it has put the Subscribers in a quandry. Yes, BAT may pursue the Ooni's Companies and Shell, to rectify it's unforced error. In the meantime they should exercise their "freedom to act responsibly" and refund our monies.

In summary we ask that the said, BAT, BATN, BATN Coop, kindly and expeditiously refund our monies, cost and interest over the last ten years.
