We are all aware of the extremly harmful impact on our environment, and hence our health, due to excessive manufacturing, consumption and disposal of plastic and paper. AMAZON, one of the biggest e-commerce companies in the world whose owner is a billionaire and one of the richest persons on the planet, is extremely guilty of this through use of unnecessary and totally avoidable over-excessive use of packaging material for the products they sell through their website and app, especially Amazon India!

More often than not, products ordered from Amazon are packed with too many extra corrugated paper cartons, excessive plastic wraps, cling films, polythene bags, bubble wraps, polystyrene, etc.), generally to the tune of 2 to 3 times more than actually required to keep the products safe in transit. All this uselessly extra packaging is so very harmful to the environment. Even though they are the biggest e-commerce company in the world, they don't seem to care about the environment and environmental impacts of their packaging at all (at least not in India). And, nothing changes even after giving numerous feedbacks on this through the Amazon app, which is so very frustrating.

If you care about the environment as well (as it impacts your health and that of your loved ones) and would like Amazon to change its ways with regards to the above, please sign this petition and if they don't make tangibly drastic changes by maximum 31st December, 2020, vow to boycott Amazon and to not order anything from them again till they take appropriate action. LET'S MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON OUR ENVIRONMENT!
