The East and West Ruscom River Roads in St. Joachim and Deerbrook are heavily traveled by walkers, runners and cyclists of all ages. This is a beautiful 6k route which circles the Ruscom River. At one time this route was highlighted for the future development of a multi-use trail or lane for active transportation. The path has since been eliminated from the list of projects.

We believe that construction of such a project would benefit the community of St. Joachim, increase citizen health, safety and would create greater connectivity between current and planned active transportation projects.
