     PROPOSAL FROM THE WOODSTOCK NATION

*Include all musical acts that performed in '69 on the monument at Bethel Woods,

Plus the 4 Producers & Max Yasgur are also to be included on the monument face.

*Correct the misspellings and data inaccuracies

*Ensure the monument is historically accurate while preserving the structural integrity envisioned by the artist Wayne Saward.

There are a number of performers like Bert Sommer (who did a ten-song set and received the only standing ovation at the 1969 Woodstock Festival), not listed on the Woodstock monument plaque at Bethel Woods NY.

It would be proper in our opinion to also honor his memory and the musicians left off the monument plaque - so that their contribution would also be remembered by future generations.

Omitted performers:  Quill, Tim Hardin, Bert Sommer, Keef Hartley Band

Producers: Lang, Roberts, Rosenman and Kornfeld

Max Yasgur was originally included but later removed.

This effort has gained much attention. Many Woodstock Survivors like Arlo Guthrie and Lisa Law have already endorsed this petition.

Join us by signing up and offering support for this noble cause to correct history for future generations and become a part of Woodstock's legacy yourself in doing so.

Also Omitted:  Swami Satchidananda, Joshua Light Show

Master of Ceremonies:  John Morris and Chip Monck     Sound by Bill Hanley

Hugh Romney, Tom Law & the Hog Farm

Wavy Gravy and others perhaps,

who we plan to honor in a yet-to-be-determined manner near or around the monument.
