Germany to Build a Time Machine to stop the Hollocaust

Germany to Build a Time Machine to stop the Hollocaust

The Issue

I've spent much of my life disturbed by a monumental human tragedy, the Holocaust. This personal concern arises from my wish to remember Adolf Hitler for his artistic endeavors rather than the horrific genocide he orchestrated.

I propose a radically unconventional solution: forcing Germany to fund the production of a time machine, the objective being to alter the course of history and prevent the Holocaust.

While this plan may seem scientifically far-fetched, many prominent physicists like Stephen Hawking admit that it's theoretically plausible (Stephen Hawking, "A Brief History of Time," 1988). However, neither private corporations nor governments have hitherto shown interest in developing time travel technology due to financial considerations.

The Holocaust was undeniably one of the darkest chapters in human history, claiming approximately six million Jewish lives (United States Holocaust Memorial Museum). If we could hypothetically prevent this atrocity, we should invest all necessary resources to see it through.

Germany, as the nation where this disaster originated, bears a historical moral responsibility. And although Germany has made significant strides in accepting responsibility for the tragedy, financial recompense for a time travel project could further signify its commitment to saying “Never Again.”

Though we may diverge on the viability of time travel, our united belief in a world devoid of atrocities like the Holocaust is significant. Let us urge the German government to seriously consider this proposal and to utilize their resources to make a positive change in world history.
