We did it! With the help of everyone who signed, shared, tweeted and posted our petition on social media or main stream media, both in SA and Germany, we managed to convince the relevant authorities to downgrade South Africa from a Virus Variant country to a high risk country. In effect, this means that we are allowed to travel now, be it under very strict regulations around vaccination, testing and quarantine. We are grateful for the opportunity and want to thank the German government for giving us the platform to campaign against the travel ban that has been in place since January.
