The response to our campaign has been phenomenal to say the least. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every single person who took time out of their busy schedules to sign this petition. It really helps our cause a lot and we are eternally grateful for that.

Things are starting to take shape now and we have made contact with a couple of media outlets who agreed to consider running our story, which will give us far greater reach.

However, our first big milestone with this petition is to reach 1000 signatures. Once we reach this goal, the petition will officially be shared with the decision makers in office.

Until then, please continue to share the petition on all social media platforms and remind everyone who is also affected by the travel ban, to write their stories in the "reason for signing" section. We depend on real life examples of how people's livelihoods are impacted by the authorities in question's decision to discriminate again South African citizens who wish to travel to Germany for the sole purpose work, study or love.
