Gerber recently stopped producing stage 3 baby foods and is now selling a new product, "Mix and Match". However many special needs children do not like this new product or other foods --they will only eat stage 3 "Lil Bits" baby food. This is especially true for children with eating difficulties, like autistic children; they can be super picky eaters. My son in particular still has problems eating most table foods since he is still recovering from cancer. We've seen multiple posts by other families pleading not only for stage 3 baby foods but to Gerber themselves to start selling this product again.

Whether your family is ready to start stage 3, has trouble eating table food, or maybe that is all they will eat, stage 3 foods are important to many people. No matter what, all children deserve to be fed and by discontinuing this product, countless children are being affected. 

We are hoping with enough support from other parents Gerber will either reverse course or start producing stage 3 foods again.
