Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many students believe its only fair of Georgia State University passes everyone for the Spring Semester 2020. 

As we are all aware there are some students who do not have internet access in their homes, and as a result of the corona virus public libraries have been closed leaving those students helpless. Other students are overwhelmed with the stress of their jobs that are not yet affected by this pandemic but they are responsible for maintaining their health and the health of their vulnerable family members that takes away from a focused learning environment. Some of the other factors that WE the students think the board should take into consideration include: students whom struggle with other platforms other than in person instruction, students who are having a hard time communicating with the staff and faculty, and students who require additional help that was normally obtained through on campus facilities. WE the students hope that Georgia State acknowledges this petition and takes this into consideration; as well as the University System of Georgia.

The personal factor that plays into this again is the fact that since this virus is undetectable, ourselves or our parents could unknowingly have this virus because our parents still have to work and may come in contact with those who already have it. Not only is this a scary thought but it adds additional stress.
