Thousands of boys and young men have been horribly injured and disfigured by a drug called Resporal manufactured by Johnson and Johnson that has been proven to cause gynecomastia which is male breast development that the company has been caught bribing doctors to downplay the risks of.  This drug has caused suffering unimaginable to those who have experienced the side effects.  In addition to causing gynecomastia which is irreversible without an extremely expensive surgery that no health insurance plan covers, it causes muscle weakness and countless other health problems that ruin the lives of many young men and boys who take it since the drug contains prolactin (a female hormone that enables pregnant and nursing women to produce breast milk).  

Sadly in the U.S. State of Georgia the state government collects 75% of what those injured by Risperdal manage to win a lawsuit or settlement, forcing them to continue suffering after all they’ve already been through and robbing them of the financial relief needed for something that should have never happened in the first place.  It is disgusting and callous for any state government to collect a settlement from anyone whose experienced the massive suffering and misery caused by Risperdal and shows a complete lack of compassion for the most vulnerable in our society: children intentionally harmed by a pharmaceutical company in order to make a profit.  This is unacceptable and should never happen anywhere in the United States including Georgia
