The Issue
Castration of any animal without sedation is cruel and teaches students that inhumane treatment of animals is acceptable. It is not. Having the students hold the cat down while it's testicles were cut off is emotional cruelty to students. This is sadistic behavior and does not belong in any classroom and is worthy of punishment to the fullest extent of the law.
