Furlow Charter School provides families in Sumter County an option for the education of their child/ren. Furlow Charter School’s Governing Board does not represent the parents of Furlow scholars and the local community and does not have the credentials and background to effectively govern Furlow Charter School. Furlow needs individuals to serve on the Governing Board that understand K-12 education and seek input from the advisors and parents before making decisions that directly and negatively impact the quality of education at Furlow Charter School. Signing this petition will demonstrate the desire to replace the current members of the Furlow Governing Board with individuals who will communicate with advisors and parents for guidance and insight to effectively guide Furlow Charter School while supporting its administration and advisors.
