We want the state attorney generals office to oversee any investigations by the DOA or Columbia County Sheriff's Office pertaining to the bird rescue in Harlem, Ga known as Feathered Friends Forever.
The Issue
An independent investigation by animal advocate Dennis Briatico shows clear abuse at the rescue. Mr. Briatico also has proof of financial crimes involving the rescue in the form of financial documents related to the rescues 501c3 bank account. It's important to have oversight by the attorney generals office because these things have been reported in the past to no avail. In the meantime the animals at this rescue continue to suffer. Please step in and make sure the owners of this rescue are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law within your power. Please help us be their voice. Please help us show that the great state of Georgia will not tolerate animal abuse and fraud of this nature.
