Save the 2020 GA 400 Bike Ride
This petition made change with 1,472 supporters!
The cycling community in the metro Atlanta area is a special one, and the GA400 ride started in 2009 is a part of this community. Since the ride first organized they have had the mission to eliminate childhood obesity two wheels at a time, raise awareness of Cycling Safety and the 3 feet law, and expose the sport of cycling to juniors in the community.
There have been 13,721 riders over the years who have raised $390,000 dollars for charities.
Today, December 12th, 2019 we received an email from the Mayor of Roswell informing us that Georgia Department of Transportation will not be approving the permit to close GA400 for 30 minutes for the Georgia 400 Bike Ride in 2020
We have been blessed to support the local community with purchases and the local charities and Emory Heart Center in the past and are asking for your help to keep this charity ride alive. Below is a list of support charities over the years.
Georgia Transplant Fund
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
Pass'em Like U Love'em
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Athlete’s in Action
Sigma Alpha Epsilon
Roswell Cross Country Booster
Centennial HS Fencing Booster
PLEASE HELP US SAVE THIS RIDE BY SIGNING THIS PETITION AND HELPING US GET A PERMIT APPROVED.
