Misogynist, racist, and homophobic photographer Kirill Bichutsky aka "The Slut Whisperer" is scheduled to return to Allure on George St. on Nov. 6th. Kirill's photographs are notoriously explicit and often feature topless women being doused in frothing champagne or milk in shots evocative of low budget porn. While women have every right to choose to be featured in pornographic photography, Kirill's photos are taken at parties where his subjects are intoxicated, negating the validity of any consent he claims to have obtained.

Kirill's last event at Allure resulted in the suspension of the bar's liquor license when underage women were id'd in his photos. Let's petition the George Street Association and the City of St. John's to follow the example set in cities across Canada. Let's shut down misogynist events that perpetuate rape culture, slut shaming, and violence against women.
