CALLING CREATIVES: New #TamponTax sister project LAUNCHED email herstoryoxford@hotmail.com

Hello all 320,088 of you AMAZING campaigners! We’re launching a new project and WE NEED YOUR HELP! The inspiring author and activist Helen Pankhurst, Emmeline Pankhurst’s great granddaughter, will launch our new ‘illuminate herstory’ exhibition in March at the University of Oxford to celebrate International Women’s Day and the centenary of women gaining the right to vote! If you would like to help us highlight the contributions and achievements of women by sending in paintings, drawings, stories, poems or whatever crosses your mind to celebrate awesome women then we would LOVE to hear from you. It would be fantastic to include as many works as possible from you that highlight as many KICK ASS women as possible, however famous or little known! HOW TO GET INVOLVED: 1) Send us an email at herstoryoxford@hotmail.com to let us know what sort of artwork/poem/whatever medium you might like to showcase at our exhibition by the 15th February 2018. 2) We will reply with any details you need and will be delighted to hear from you! 3) We will showcase your work from 9th-11th March at St Catherine’s College, University of Oxford in their main hall!! Helen Pankhurst will open the exhibition on Saturday 10th March from 2-4pm. Please join us! Hopefully this will help to highlight the many amazing women that so often go overlooked.
