Hello all 320,008 of you amazing people!!!! We have some BIG NEWS to share with you: last week, we addressed the European Parliament to discuss the importance of fighting against the sexism that underpins tampon tax. IT WAS AWESOME! Special thanks to Molly Scott MEP for our invitation. After speaking with some important players across the continent, we have decided not to give up on our mission to scrap tampon tax continent-wide, despite our recent break from the European Union. In solidarity, we intend to scrap sexist taxation alongside our European sister campaigns. Period. No referendum or external political decision will change that. (YAY) Our full post-Brexit plans to end tampon tax outside of the EU will follow soon, as George Osborne’s legislation continues to slowly make its way through Parliament… Best wishes to all of you wonderful people. Together we will stand up to sexism across the world. As devastated/excited as you may be following our Brexit result, know that no referendum will ever interrupt our mission to end tampon tax.
