Hello lovely people!!! This week, Change.org organised an AMAZING Gender Equality roundtable event in the Parliament. They very kindly invited me to talk about tampon tax and to push for its axe in a room full of powerful and influential women. Paula Sherriff MP took up the issue with me, and promised to push for the end of tampon tax within Parliament. She has been instrumental as our crusader behind the doors of Westminster, and will formally pressure the Treasurer soon. Now that the EU has relaxed its taxation regulations, there is no reason for this parliamentary hold-up. We need to see the scrapping of tampon tax, and we need to see it NOW.
