Freedom to complain against Social Care without fear of retribution

The Issue

People should be able to complain or raise concerns about the social care they are receiving without fear of receiving hostile behaviour from the care provider including, but not limited to, withdrawal of certain parts of their care package, hostile carers, calls cancelled, medical help withdrawn, or even having their entire care package stopped without appropriate notice or reason.

Having had 4 care agencies in 4 years due this to me, and I was not being rude or unreasonable in asking them to complete the tasks outlined in my care plan, I am appalled there is no accountability or responsibility.

I know I am not alone.  Please sign if you care about the vulnerable.

Anne-Marie FewellPetition StarterI have M.E. and Fibromyalgia. I depend on Social Care, and I am alarmed at how Social Care users get treated by those supposed to care for them. I have had various struggles with social care in the UK. It's been hard. It's been distressing. But I knew God was going to bring something up out of the ashes. I felt a conviction in my spirit to stand up for the vulnerable in society. Now my health is improving generally, and I am able to take my first steps as an activist (albeit a bed bound one!). I attach a link to my new blog. Please support it if you are able and share if you can. Many vulnerable have no voice, help me give them one. Please.
