Please let's try and change the BSL law even if 1 small part at a time, I think that by handing a dog owner a notice that their dog is considered to possibly be 'type' and let them know they will have to arrange an appointment with the DLO to come and see the dog and carry out an assessment in your home. This will have more than 1 positive action, it will stop kennels being filled up with dogs that have a home, haven't been found straying or done anything wrong and also make the assessment less stressful for the dogs, it also means owners won't be put through the misery of having their family member siezed. This causes misery for dog owners who aren't allowed to even know where their dogs are and so can't see them during the process, my dogs were siezed March 11th this yr and the distress it has caused is awful I don't believe it to be a fair system BSL is wrong anyway, judging a dog based on its breed ! If racism is wrong then so should BSL be wrong.
