The Issue

We need to change now. Our world and the exquisite creatures in it are dying because of our actions, but we can still change that. This affects everyone. The air quality has decreased massively and is still changing. This affects our health as well as our environment. The weather will become more violent and will eventually cause natural disasters such as hurricanes, floods, and earthquakes to be much more common, and more disastrous than ever.

There are many simple ways we can change. We can do simple things like using cars less, only using lights when it's dark, turning the heating down when we don't need it, and recycling more. Only 29.1% of PET Bottles and jars were recycled in 2018, but we could be recycling so much more! So there is no excuse not to be able to do anything. However, no matter what, this isn't enough. We have to make bigger changes to make things happen, and right now, It's imperative we do what we can to stop the climate crisis. I suggest that we ban fruit wrapped in plastic. This would help significantly to decrease the numbers of plastic pollution.

Whether I win or lose the petition, something needs to be done. Change needs to happen now. Not tomorrow, not next week, but right this minute. This is why we need your help! If we win, together we are making that step toward a better future, and if we lose, we'll keep trying, we will make this change happen. It is a problem we can't ignore.

I really hope that you'll consider signing to help save our environment before its too late. It will really go a long way!
