Down below is an email from the Executive Director of CAS. Thank you so much for everyone's support. On campus, we are continuing to work towards making changes for the dining halls but our progress could not have happened without all the support from students, parents and friends!

Dear Geneseo students-
We are disappointed that the on-campus dining experience so far this year has not been what we hoped for. We are using feedback from students and parents to make immediate changes to our offerings, and the entire CAS organization is committed to making further improvements over the upcoming days. I am writing with an update on dining options and the changes that have been implemented since Monday, including an emphasis on healthy options.
Added since Monday:
To-go containers are more readily available at the cashier’s stands
Clean Eats entrees (food that is free from the top 8 allergens) available at Mary Jemison (MJ) within the unlimited dining area
Increases in vegetables and side dishes to stations at MJ
Grains, plain steamed vegetables
Added whole fruit to Red Jacket (RJ) and MJ
Added chicken fingers and fries at lunch and dinner at MJ
Adjusted menus in both MJ and RJ to ensure availability of food during busy periods
Starting Wednesday, 9/1:
Added a salad bar at MJ for lunch and dinner
Added Mary’s Deli wraps and salads to the unlimited dining options; please note that smoothies are still part of the retail program
Starting Friday, 9/3:
Pre-packaged Kosher meals will be available within unlimited dining at both RJ and MJ
Starting 9/6:
We will be adding tofu and hummus to all salad bars as a daily option
We will be offering a rotation menu of Poke Bowls, Bento Boxes and Ramen at lunch daily as part of the unlimited dining plan at Twisted Fork in RJ
Our goal is to continue to optimize all our dining plans and reopen all services as soon as we possibly can. From this point onward, we will provide a weekly update in this format with the progress that has been made. We will also share updates through social media and our website as they become available.
