CofE churches need to stop taking items from graves and plaques

CofE churches need to stop taking items from graves and plaques
The Issue
Many of us in longstanton near Cambridge have lost loved ones who are laid to rest at All saints church .
Some of us have for a number of years had no issues from anyone regards artifical flowers and ornaments on graves and plaques . These items are minimal and maintained and often replaced .
They were all recently removed as sadly the pcc and the church of England and some people are more concerned about the appearance of the churchyard, rather than the comfort this brings to those missing loved ones .
It has caused so much heartache and forced us to relive our grief . It has been especially difficult for many of us that have babies and children laid to rest there. This is the only thing we can do for our children ,and gives us a sense of including them in our lives.
Many of us found going to the church yard comforting unfortunately not any more.
These rules need to change or for some kind of compromise to be made. Please be kind and think of the people not how astheticly pleasing and plain it should be! Grief is on going and has no time limit think and rethink church of england surely this can cause no harm only bring comfort to those who miss loved ones.
Please help by singing and sharing.
Thank you .
