Justice for Freddie the Seal

Justice for Freddie the Seal
The Issue
On 21 March 2021, dog owner Rebecca Sabben-Clare, QC allowed her aggressive and out-of-control dog (off-lead) to attack and fatally injure the beloved Freddie the Seal on the banks of Hammersmith Bridge. Freddie was famous in the area & in the UK : having been rescued and brought to the area to live out his days in peace and safety. He was just 9 months old.
Now this is important: THERE WERE SIGNS UP IN THE AREA ASKING DOG OWNERS TO KEEP THEIR DOGS ON LEADS!
Rebecca Sabben-Clare had NO CONTROL of her dog (a dark brown Patterdale-mix). Indeed it was a nearby photographer and several other onlookers who rushed over to try and pull the aggressive dog off the poor seal. His words? "The dog just wouldn't let go". After the event... did Rebecca Sabben-Clare stay? Did she remain or return to see if the seal was alive? Could be helped? Could be saved?? No: she left. 24hrs later poor Freddie had to be euthanised, his injuries were too serious to save him.
Following public outcry and utter grief over the loss of this beloved seal, her response? To tell the press she'd "spoken to the police and RSPCA and that she'd done nothing wrong".
WE WANT JUSTICE FOR THIS APPALLING INCIDENT!
AT THE VERY LEAST MS SABBEN-CLARE SHOULD BE FINED FOR HER AGGRESSIVE DOG BEING TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL & COMPLETELY IGNORING THE WARNING SIGNS FOR ALL DOG OWNERS TO KEEP THEIR DOGS ON A LEAD!
