A BETTER NEW YEAR 2022

The beginning of a new year brings hope to all of us for a better future. The daylight is getting longer , the new generation will soon be free to fly again to feel our world with their touch, their better vision and most of all their dedicated hearing for changes needed for our planet. 

I will remain inside the cage but I won’t stop walking as long as I have to. Looking forward to the soothing thought of feeling my ashes being scattered over an olive tree.  There is a beginning and an end for us all.

During our life, most of us tend to develop a speciality and a strength in an area we work. And in others we are absolutely naive. Facing greed, fraud, theft and detraction will leave any of us distraught and powerless as we were not brought up that way. And why when we manage to decipher such actions, it is too late.

But sometimes an unbearable loss bestow upon us the strength to face such adversity

The theme that requires Your vital support relates to 3 concrete housing improvements ,

1.What you pay in exchange to receive proper repairs cannot be stolen from you by the landlord  ( it has been my case) 
2.Proper repairs need to be obtained without fighting for years and with the threat of your home loss in balance (this is happening to me for 27 y) 
3.Irreversible damages done by an influential person to your home should be recognised straight away and not be ignored because they have the power to do so (despite your own proofs and still ongoing until today)

The lawmakers have introduced articles of changes for point 1, but they are not approved yet 

Points 2 (half studied by them)  and 3 should be prevented by simple legislation and some added help for people overwhelmed with family commitments or health issues  compelling them to a life of distraught housing. 

This also should take into account insulation and other common sense problems that are regularly dismissed unless there is a legal suit involved. AND  That does not make any sense.  (e.g I waited for a first ever proper cover on my kitchen roof from 1995 to 2013 and still not right )

If any of you know anyone in the BBC who has a voice, please ask them to help, although no influential institution will dare to help from fear of losing face. The property ombudsman’s existence is a kafkaesque bureaucracy ending with only one closing deal, the landlord is  always right, as they survive thanks to their subscriptions.

I sent an email to my MP last year and will send another one this year for my request to see the changes in law happening this time.  Being derided will be a condition of knocking at doors to be heard. I am too old to pursue a dream but I am doing it because it matters.

Your signing could help the recognition of this case to occur during my lifetime. 

Such a blessing to receive support from you as it comes from all different parts of the uk and even abroad. The horizon does not look so bleak for a housing case that  concerns us all and can leave us with a feeling of abandonment when our rights are dismissed for decades and youth vanishes stripping away our strength, hope and faith in justice.

If I am unsuccessful in bringing the necessary changes, can I ask you to take on my case after my departure, so this should never happen again with safeguarding rightly set up for everyone.
