Upon its arrival, the Pontiac Aztek filled a major gap in consumer vehicle needs: An automobile that drove like a standard SUV but could have a tent pitched in the back of it. The main problem is that its batteries were charged by an internal combustion engine which needed to be running all night while camping, filling the tent with smelly carbon monoxide. Now that battery technology has improved, it's time to bring back the Pontiac Aztek as an all-electric vehicle so we can finally have the crossover glamping experience the beast pioneered.
