There is a major problem with the 5.3 engines on Chevy Silverado models 2005 and above. The quality in the camshaft and lifters they used is very poor and it is causing a misfire as you accelerate along with Check engine and Traction Control lights on the dashboard. After several mechanic visits and  hours of online research we came across thousands  of complaints over the same lifter and cam failure! The estimated repairs varies from $2000 to $5000 and it is obvious this is a factory diffect. Please help pass this to other Chevy owners to help us all get GM to take responsibility and get millions of Chevy owners the much needed mechanic repairs!
