Going Rogue - A Shared Vision

The Issue

During the past four years, The Rogue Gallery and Studios has played a vital role in the Waterford arts scene, allowing artists of all genres to exhibit, use studio space, and perform at little to no cost, removing barriers to those with limited resources.

The Rogue serves the inner city as a community and artistic hub running art classes, exhibitions, and performance showcases. We have nurtured developing talent, put in place a programme of mentorship, and run projects with an eye to using art to change our communities for the better. We have worked with organisations like Treo Port Lairge, Crinniu na nÓg, Modwords, Busk Aid, and more to widen the cultural landscape of Waterford and to promote art as a social good.

This campaign was launched to raise awareness around the issues relating to the Rogue Gallery Premises and to put pressure on the council to help us home for our artistic community.

The gallery lives on one principle: that art is not an elite occupation, but a creative spirit that lives in all of us.

We ask for your support in keeping this ethos alive.
