women should be tested for group b strep in early on in pregnancy as a result of this my daughter was infected and she was born not breathing n rushed straight to icu afta trying for a number of minutes pumpin at her tiny body n they couldnt get her to breath so she was wired to a breathing machine were i sadly didnt get to hold her for days for any mother its the worse pain u can feel not just not been able to hold her but to be put at risk afta knowing tht i had it in my previous pregnancy....my main reason for this is to get all pregnant women tested early on so when your waters do brake ur to go to hospital n get attibiotics so ur baby doesnt contract the infection some babys have sadly died thru this others have disabilities as it can cause water on brain n other kind of complications plz plz plz sign
